Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss:
Get By on Just Juice for a While

Weight Loss Juice Glass1 Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss: <br />Get By on Just Juice for a WhileA lot of people are looking for ways to lose weight.

Juicing attracts quite a lot of people who are feeling overweight and out of control when it comes to their relationship with their bodies. And this makes total sense: juicing corrects one of the cardinal sins of nutrition, which is not getting enough fruits and vegetables.

In fact, the huge lure of juicing is the possibility of supercharging your consumption of fruits and vegetables at high velocity. And all that without spraining your jaw muscles through all that endless salad chewing!!

Of course, if you’re used to feeling full and heavy with fatty foods, trying to shift over to a juice diet can feel tantamount to torture.

You have to hang on through the initial withdrawal period before you can really tell whether juicing might be a good way for you to lose any excess weight you might be carrying.

The subject of health, and weight loss, is huge.

I can’t be comprehensive about it here, but I can share some simple ideas with you if you’re in a position where you’re overweight or know someone who is and you’re wondering if juicing might be the way to get rid of the excess fat.

Start With a Simple Juice Diet

My first advice to you if you’re looking to lose weight and you’re wanting to figure out if juicing can help you is to take on a small juice fast.

Even just going for a week with drinking fresh made juices and not consuming any solid foods can help your system take a break and reset a bit.

You should always consult a doctor before undertaking any type of fast.

The basic idea of a juice diet is: drink juice. All day. As much as you want. But no solid foods.

All kinds of juice can work for a juice fast. I’ve got a bunch of recipes already available here at Juice Diet HQ, but here are some great juices you can start out with.

I’ll put the most accessible and most easily made juices at the top of this list. The juices that require a little more, shall we say, effort to enjoy come later on.

Most juicers can handle ingredients like carrots, apples, beets and celery. But not every juicer can juice parsley or kale or ginger. Just keep that in mind–start small with the tougher juices and ramp up if you like them. If you don’t have a juicer that can juice dark leafy greens, you can always go pick up a juice at your local juice bar when you’re hankering for a down and dirty dark green juice.

Easy Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss

The Tasty:

  • 6 carrots
  • 1 apple

Juice and enjoy–this juice is easy to love.

The Spicy Tasty:

  • 6 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cube of ginger

A little ginger adds some powerful cleansing power and packs a punch, too!

The Cleanser:

  • 6 carrots
  • 2 beets

I don’t particularly enjoy the flavor of beets, but man if they don’t clean you out.

The Hydrator:

  • 5 carrots
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 6 leaves of romaine lettuce
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear

This delicious juice really leaves you feeling hydrated. The celery and lettuce mellow out the sweetness of the carrots and fruit.

The Beastly Green Juice:

  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 5 stalks of celery
  • 6-8 leaves of romaine
  • 1 handful of flat leaf parsley
  • 4-5 stalks of kale

Green juice is where you want to be if you’re concerned about your health. It is an unbelievable health tonic, but the taste can be a little off-putting. So add an apple or some carrots to this mixture as you’re getting used to it. But as soon as you can, leave the sweet stuff out and learn to enjoy this powerful juice just as it is.

Juicing Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated

Really, almost anything goes when it comes to making your own healthy juices to help you with your goal of losing weight.

Use these juices as a starting point, or just use these juices and don’t worry about branching out from here.

The key with any health habit is consistency. Juicing one of these once a month isn’t going to help you lose weight. But adopting a new habit of drinking a fresh vegetable juice every single day can definitely lead you in the right direction.

You’ll still want to eat healthy foods, exercise and get plenty of rest, but juicing is a fantastic gateway into the wide world of health. Try these juicing recipes for weight loss, and good luck!
